MAAP Health Committee Reults

The MAAP Health Committee created a working group whose focus is determining which HEDIS measures are most appropriate for the committee to track. The asthma measures working group discussed which indicators, as health care providers, they track in their practice and their processes for tracking indicators. The working group listed the following measures:

• Asthma Control
• Tobacco Exposure
• Tobacco Intervention
• Pharmacy Therapies
• ED/ Inpatient and D/c plans 

It was agreed that the work group would choose one process measure and one outcome measure to track.
